The Yeowomen pulled out a victory over Kenyon 54-50 on Wednesday night. Kenyon College came into the game on a four game winning streak. They may have come in hot but their winning streak would end. Throughout the game the Yeowomen and the Lords of Kenyon were more or less even as they both shot about 30 percent on field goals. Three pointers shooting was not much better or worse for that matter as the Lords shot 29 percent and the Yeowomen shot 27 percent. The Yeowomen and the Lords were even down to the wire until the free throws began. The Yeowomen were spot on from the stripe only missing four free throws as they went 17-21. Beyond that Christina Marquette, Lindsay Bernhardt, and Malisa Hoak all were in double digits and lead the way for the Yeowomen on offense. I only have one thing left to say, anytime you beat Kenyon it is a great day! Way to go Yeowomen! Tune in on Saturday at 1:00 to hear Darren Zaslau broadcast the game against Hiram on goyeo.com Comments are closed.
